This site collects only what is needed to consider a stay request, and nothing else. No data is sold, traded, or used for advertising.
Who handles your data

What you give us
When you send a stay request, we record only what you entered: first and last name, email address, phone number, country of residence, requested dates, number of guests and children's ages, chosen options, and the message you write to us.
We also keep the quote exactly as it was shown to you. That protects you: if our rates change between your request and our reply, the price you saw is the one that stands.
We never ask for payment details. No card number and no bank details pass through this site.
Why
To consider your request and reply to you. That is the only purpose. You receive an immediate acknowledgement, then a personal answer.
You are not added to any mailing list, and we will not write to you about anything other than your request.
Where your data is held
On servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), with Supabase. Five providers are involved, each for one precise function:
- Supabase — database and photo hosting.
- Resend — sending email.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Stripe — card payment, if you choose that method. Stripe receives your email address, the amount, and the dates and reference of your stay. Your card details are entered directly with Stripe and never pass through this site.
- Mapbox — the map in the Location section. Mapbox also receives usage statistics for its own map, which its library sends with no way to switch them off.
No other recipient. Your data is neither shared nor sold.
For how long
Stay requests are kept for as long as needed to follow up, then deleted. You may ask for their removal at any time.
The counters that limit abusive submissions are erased after seven days.
Your IP address
To stop one sender from flooding the form, we need to recognise that two requests come from the same source. Your IP address is never stored in readable form: we keep only a salted cryptographic fingerprint, from which the original address cannot be recovered. It answers the question “is this the same source?” and nothing else. These fingerprints are deleted after seven days.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no social pixel, no tracker of any kind. That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Your language choice is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves it.
A session cookie exists only inside the private administration console, which you cannot reach.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to its processing. Write to stay@serenity77.ch — we answer personally.
These rights are granted to you by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and, if you live in the European Union, by the General Data Protection Regulation.
